100+ Instagram Post Ideas For Entrepreneurs
Looking for Instagram post ideas for entrepreneurs? Maybe right now you’re freaking out about what to post on Instagram today. Keep reading because you’re not alone babe!
It’s not that you don’t want to post. But somehow your Instagram posts simply fall to the bottom of your To-Do List. (Meaning: you never quite get around to it.)
Many business owners and content creators face the dreaded “blank page syndrome.” We know we need to post something. But all that pressure just makes your mind go blank. So you end up not doing it at all.
But fear not friend! I’ve curated a comprehensive list of 100 engaging social media post ideas to spark your creativity.
From behind-the-scenes glimpses to expert tips and inspiring quotes, this list has something for everyone. Let’s get those creative juices flowing and elevate your social media game together!
The Importance of Photo + Video
Did you know that photos and videos are far more likely to attract comments, likes, and shares than plain text posts? A study by BuzzSumo revealed that posts with images received a whopping 2.3 times more engagement than those without. And on platforms like Instagram, visual content is a must!
But I get it. I know some entrepreneurs (like myself!) are reluctant to post photos of themselves online. I didn’t post myself for years–and honestly, that was a mistake.
So please know posting great content on Instagram doesn’t mean posting a selfie every day. There are lots of ways to share your message without putting yourself front and center 24/7.
Why Use Instagram For Your Business?
We all know the truth: Instagram has changed a lot since it started. You can’t just post a photo to your followers anymore. Nowadays, there’s a lot of competition and it takes effort for your post, branding and message to stand out.
But don’t let that scare you away! Even though it’s changed, Instagram is still one of my favorite places to connect with real people. I find it way easier to do that there than on TikTok or Facebook, for example.
Even though we don’t like change, sometimes you just have go with the flow and to learn how to play the game in a new way.
By showcasing your products or services through visually appealing content, businesses can build brand awareness and attract potential customers. Additionally, Instagram’s interactive features, such as Stories and Reels, provide opportunities for direct engagement and building relationships with customers.
I also know that Instagram isn’t the right choice for everyone. So if you don’t love Instagram, that’s totally okay! Just pick another platform to focus on instead.

In other words, don’t let the fear of posting hold you back! Instagram is a wonderful tool for personal branding and the more you let your audience get to know you, the more they will trust you (and in turn, buy from you).
What Not To Care About On Instagram
Instagram can be confusing but you don’t have to care about everything. Here’s our list of what you can skip.
- The perfect grid. While it’s nice to have, don’t freak out if things don’t look totally perfect on your grid.
- Filters. A little filtering is fine but the crazy dramatic filters of the past are out.
- Hashtags are dead in most platforms so don’t waste a lot of time figuring out the best ones for you.
- Making apologies. No one cares that you took three weeks off from posting so don’t make a big deal about it!
